Azantis™ Krill Oil
Helps With...
MHL's Azantis™ Krill Oil supplement provides a significant amount of Omega-3 fatty acids plus antioxidants: a potent combination for cardiovascular health. The American Heart Association recognizes that Omega-3 fatty acids benefit the heart of healthy people, and those at high risk of - or who have - cardiovascular disease. The AHA recommends "eating fish (particularly fatty fish) at least two times a week. Fatty fish like salmon, mackerel, and albacore tuna are high in two kinds of omega-3 fatty acids, eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)." Since most people do not consume fatty fish multiple times per week, a krill oil supplement can help fill the gap!
Azantis™ Krill Oil also supports nerve and brain function, provides joint support, addresses PMS-related issues, maintains healthy skin, supplies anti-oxidant nourishment to help the body retain its youthfulness, and enhances your overall quality of life*.
Key Ingredients
Azantis™ Krill Oil contains at least 42% phospholipids, and 24% omega-3. Omega-3s bonded to krill phospholipids are far more effective than omegas bonded to triglycerides from fish oil. The easiest way to understand this important difference is to see that omegas usually don't come in a free form; they are packaged (or bonded) and in order for your body to use them, the package must be acceptable.
Triglycerides from fish oil are not acceptable; they need to be broken down in the gut, and reassembled as phospholipids in your system. Furthermore, when your body (liver) creates phospholipids from free fatty molecules, it is not guaranteed that the good fatty acids, such as EPA and DHA (omega 3s) end up bonded to the phospholipid. It is very well possible that your liver bonds bad fats to the phospholipid!
Krill oil starts out as a phospholipid and the attached omega-3s don't need to be broken down, making the EPA and HA more bioavailable and effective!
Why is this key to your health?
Each of your cell membranes is made from phospholipids. A cell membrane determines which nutrients and toxins can go into the cell, and which waste and toxins can leave. This is "health" defined on its most basic level. A cell membrane has typically 2 to 6 layers of phospholipids. A thin membrane isn't as good of a filter as a thick membrane.
The phospholipid bonds not only with two fat molecules, it can also bond with an anti-oxidant. These anti-oxidants play a key roll in capturing free radicals, which are toxic molecules that can damage our DNA within the cell. Krill phospholipids come with one of the most powerful anti-oxidants attached. This anti-oxidant is called Astaxanthin, which is the carotenoid or a naturally occurring pigment that makes salmon red and immensely resilient.
This explains why omega-3s from krill are far superior to fish omegas. Krill is packaged the right way with the highest amounts of bioavailable phospholipids, and is supercharged with anti-oxidants.
Metabolic Health Labs offers our customers the best quality krill oil available. We formulate only with Azantis™ Krill Oil, because it has the highest phospholipid levels of krill oils on the market.
